Mark Hargrove graduated from The University of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA) in Graphic Communication and has received a Masters of Science degree (MS), Summa Cum Laude, in Instructional Technology from The University of Houston Clear Lake. Prior to opening Hargrove Design, Mark served as the Art Director for several national and international magazines, as well as the Creative Director of a Houston-based advertising agency. Although Mark's primary professional focus is Hargrove Design, he is also a partner in Optemax, a company that specializes in e-marketing programs. An active member in a number of professional and community organizations, Mark speaks at workshops and seminars introducing the basics of good graphic design and how to work with the graphic design and printing industry. Mark is also an adjunct professor at The University of Houston where, since 2011, he has guided students in the design and execution of multimedia projects using the industry's most current technology. Prior to U of H, he taught at The Art Institute of Houston for 11 years.
