Last week, we said farewell to Zoe Krishtul, an HCUS Intern with the Office of Innovation who spent the past nine months supporting AI and innovation initiatives across HCUS. During her internship, Zoe supported evaluations of AI chatbot solutions for county services, assisted with data pipelines, analytics workflows, and Azure-based validation processes. She also contributed to community AI Literacy initiatives, and helped develop documentation, demonstrations, and training materials for emerging AI tools and proof-of-concept projects. Her work supported ongoing efforts to advance innovation, digital literacy, and technology solutions across Harris County.

“Zoe brought an impressive combination of curiosity, technical skill, and initiative to the Office of Innovation. She consistently delivered high quality work across multiple AI projects and played a meaningful role in our community digital literacy efforts. Her ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and provide thoughtful insights made her an invaluable part of our team.
