Taking a quick tea break because, honestly, we needed it ☕🌱 Grabbed our Smart Cup by Mission Zero and it's still keeping the tea hot.
We're all about making better choices where we can, and swapping to a reusable cup just makes sense. Less waste, same great sip.

A great afternoon of culture, community, and sustainability 🌱

The Environmental & Sustainability Club partnered with the Mexican American Student Association to host a Lotería event at Lone Star College-CyFair that brought students together for a fun and meaningful experience.

We had the opportunity to help make this event more sustainable, and we're proud to share that we saved over 150 cups from ending up in the trash after a single use 🙌♻️

"Compostable" means about as much as "natural."

CBC Marketplace tested various "compostable" products in:

a) a lake,
b) a backyard composter,
c) buried underground.

Almost nothing completely broke down. Most of these types of single-use products are compostable where facilities exist. But those facilities barely exist anywhere.

If "you're one of the millions of Canadians whose municipalities do not accept compostable items, it's nearly impossible to access a commercial composter."

Beware greenwashing!

It’s been quite sometime since switched to alternatives using wooden disposable silverware. It’s even more carbon and capital efficient to use reusable silverware. Can airlines really switch to reusables without affecting their inflight experience or operations? We believe so. Flying the skies
