We really are a bunch of cheapskates, one mention of money and everybody vanishes like smoke in the wind.

What are people really willing to pay to go to a reunion? If it's only $5.000 per person that's fine, we can rent a pavilion at Hampton Ponds or Mount Tom, everybody bring food to share. How's that thought suit everybody?

I love Mount Tom Reservation and we can get that pavilion for small money, heaven knows we're a bunch of cheapskates. The potential issues there are that the pavilion is close to a swampy area so it can get buggy and all the MA Deparment of Conservation and Recreation properties prohibit alcohol. How do we feel about no beers in any of our coolers? Never been to Forest Park, last I knew Look Park still allowed beer in the coolers. It costs more too. How much are people willing to spend, per individual or per couple, on a reunion?

Thanks for giving us a head count in the comments, so far it looks like there will be about 12 people going but hopefully that will increase. Next question: who has a suggestion for where to have our picnic?

The consensus looks to be that we'd prefer a summer picnic. Is there a preference between a Saturday or a Sunday? The first or second weekends of June would be the closest to our actual graduation anniversary.

Everybody please spread this around to all the classmates you are in communication with. It never fails that I bump into somebody a month or three after a reunion and they tell me they didn't know it was happening.

June 4 is the 25th anniversary of our graduation date. I won't say what that makes us, but it isn't young. Do we want to have a summertime cookout reunion this year or indoors around Thanksgiving?

As years ago, we would like to meet up in Holyoke and preferably the typical reunion Saturday after Thanksgiving! Who is available?
