Congratulations to the Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department, and thank you for your business! The Beech Grove VFD was formed in December 2016 and is a true success story. In its first nine years, it has built the original fire station and has recently expanded it. A second station is being built in their district, and they are now purchasing new fire apparatus. With hard work from its members and generous contributions from the community, the Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department is an excellent model of how to do things right.

We've officially ordered our first ever new firetruck!
In response to the grant recently received by BGVFD from the Fire Department Assistance - Texas A&M Forest Service, we've ordered the truck through the HGACBuy program from US Fire Apparatus in Holden, Louisiana. Kevin Lentz is the new Regional Manager for USFA for basically the eastern half of Texas.
The truck has a 1500gpm pump with an 1800-gallon water tank and Class A foam system with a 50-gallon foam reservoir.
This truck will be stationed at our new Dixie Community fire station!
Matching funds for this purchase are being provided as budgeted by Jasper County Emergency Services District # 4.
Arrival date is Summer 2026!
