We’re thrilled to share some big news: Spire has won the 2025 StartUp Rutland × gener8tor Demo Showcase!
The mission behind our cognitive training platform, Mentor, is to help people prepare for pressure and build decision-making skills that hold up when it matters most. Last Tuesday night in Killington, VT, Spire founder Nathan Fry rose to the occasion and put into practice what we preach.
The K-1 Lodge was buzzing with more than 150 entrepreneurs, investors, and community leaders from across Vermont. It was an honor to share the stage with our fellow cohort startups— Aden Legal Education, Burlington Bio, TeleRay, and —and to feel the incredible support behind Vermont’s growing startup ecosystem.
Huge thanks to the Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region, /Pico Ski Resort Partners, StartUp Rutland, gener8tor, and all the business leaders who’ve offered guidance along the way.
Special shoutout to Vanessa Huerta for flying in to attend, and to Jesse Stein for his mentorship. We also appreciate EastRise Credit Union for sponsoring the audience award and supporting Vermont’s startup community.
To our cohort peers— Rebecca Purdom, Jared Carter, Andrew Donahue, Rachael Floreani, Timothy Kelley, Kevin Thompson, and Rustam Sengupta—we’re proud to have shared the stage with you and look forward to growing Vermont’s entrepreneurial community together.
Finally, thank you to Mose Cassaro for leading the gBETA accelerator program we just completed. Your guidance and support over the past nine weeks have been invaluable.
Thank you to everyone who’s helped us reach this point. Mentor 1.0 is just the beginning—we’re excited for what comes next.
