Spent the afternoon out in the backyard playing with creative things. I did a little experimenting with watercolor stuff, and then got down to business. I put on some animated Superfriends from the 60s to listen to, and had some glass and wire fun. So now I have a few centerpieces - an eyeball flower, a squiggle disc, and a little fidget pendant.

Yaaay! It's official! I'll be back in the jewelry game this summer in preparation for the GeekCraft Expo PDX show in early October! (Which reminds me, I need to adjust my vacation request 🤔). I'm excited to get back to it, and use some of the fun glass and stone pieces I've collected this year, like this cute pumpkin bead. As you can see, I'm already doodling ideas in my sketchbook.

Hello! Long time no see! I have absolutely fallen off the edge of the earth this year. My life got complicated and sad last summer, and I decided I needed a break from jewelry making. My creativity has been channeled into other things, so I haven't been sitting around stagnant. Just no jewelry.

But! I'm getting back to my pliers and hammer, my wire and shiny bits. It doesn't hurt that it means I get to spend hot days in the basement studio space... 😁

Here's the start of a new piece. I'll be adjusting, of course, but this is the beginning.
