I recently met a lady who repairs sewing machines, sells used sewing machines, teaches sewing and is a seamstress. This awesome! She is very needed here. Give her a call if you need her services.

Today we had an amazing Repair Cafe at Blue Ridge Community College. We had 30 people bring in 53 items and 48 were repaired. The 5 that were not repaired 3 did not have the correct parts and 2 were not repairable. Overall that’s a 91% success in 3 hours. Here are a few photos. Such a great day! I have the best volunteers! They do such a great job while being kind and helpful. Shout out to all of them. 🎉
