RecRe

Right by the front doors at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, RecRe makes laptops, MacBook chargers, and other shared inventory visible and available for students to borrow.

We love this placement! Putting useful resources along a student’s everyday path makes them easier to discover and use.

These photos from Elizabethtown College capture students (and mascot!) checking out their outdoor RecRe locker.

We love seeing campuses introduce students to the gear they can borrow and the spaces where they can use it. (Bonus points when the mascot joins in!)

Try it before you buy it, right in the campus bookstore!

At VCU, RecRe lockers inside the Barnes & Noble bookstore let students borrow equipment they’re considering buying. The same lockers also offer board games.

It’s another way a campus bookstore can serve students. Borrow something useful, try it out, and get to know what the store offers along the way.

This student POV from the University of Missouri shares how RecRe makes it easy to borrow gear at an outdoor recreation space.

Having the equipment nearby means students can spend more time enjoying the space. We love hearing about that experience directly from the people using it!

A wagon can make a long walk across campus a lot easier.

At the University of Cincinnati, a student borrowed a collapsible cart from RecRe in the Tangeman University Center to move equipment for a class project.

Packages from the mailroom. Supplies from the student activities office. Equipment for a shoot. On an urban campus, there’s plenty to carry and a lot of ground to cover.

Shared wagons give students and campus teams a simple way to move what they need, without everyone needing to own one.

We love when a campus’ SGA board leads the charge with RecRe!

At the University of Iowa, students now have access to a wide variety of items from outdoor games to chargers and study tools.

If you’re a Student Government leader who’s looking for a way to leave a legacy of accessibility and community on your campus, we’d love to chat!

University of Cincinnati's rec center rents hammocks through a RecRe box.

Students grab one, walk to the hammock grove, and take an actual break and "hang out" with their friends

Does your campus make hammocks and outdoor activities easily available and visible?

A thing we hear from campus rec teams a lot. "Students want to play but our "front desk" is so far from the intramural and outdoor green spaces."

The University of Missouri solved that by putting the volleyballs outside, next to the net, in a RecRe box that students get access to for free.

We love when campuses send out press releases about RecRe launches!

We're thrilled to partner with Western Illinois University and bring a RecRe Box that makes inventory accessible and free to the wider WIU community.

We now support nearly a half dozen schools across the state of Illinois and have many more installations coming up soon!
