CAGBASH XIX – THANK YOU, EVERYONE!

What an absolutely incredible weekend. CAGBASH XIX is in the books, and once again, this community showed exactly why this event has lasted nineteen years.

To every single player who came out to roll dice, push little plastic soldiers across the battlefield, and share laughs, stories, and a few tragic dice rolls — thank you. Whether you were fighting for the top table or just here for five great games and hanging out with friends, you are the reason this event exists.

To our volunteers and staff — you are the real MVPs. From hauling terrain, helping with check-in, judging games, answering questions, and keeping things running all weekend smoothly… we simply could not do this without you. Seriously. Thank you for giving your time and energy to make this event happen.

🏆 CAGBASH XIX Champion
Zachary Morales – T’au Empire

After five hard-fought rounds, Zachary Morales piloted the T’au Empire to victory and claimed the title of CAGBASH XIX Champion!

With that victory, Zachary takes home the Eddie “The Warboss” Axe Trophy, honoring our friend and battle brother Eddie Draper, whose love of the hobby and larger-than-life personality still echo through our community.

As part of that honor, Zachary also earns a ticket to compete at the Warhammer World Championships of Warhammer. Which has been passed down to Peter Elias.

Golden Pig Painting Competition
Stephen Brinkman – Converted Tzeentch Knight

The Golden Pig once again showcased some absolutely incredible hobby talent this year, but the judges’ choice went to Stephen Brinkman for his stunning converted Tzeentch Knight.
The creativity, detail, and sheer chaos energy in that model made it impossible to ignore. The Golden Pig is all about celebrating the artistry in this hobby, and Stephen absolutely delivered.

Ian Villamagna Award – Armies on Parade
Georde “Gator” Murray – Imperial Knights & Sisters of Battle Display

The Ian Villamagna Award celebrates the creativity and passion Ian brought to the hobby, and this year, Georde “Gator” Murray blew everyone away with an incredible Imperial Knights and Sisters of Battle display.
It was a perfect example of the kind of storytelling and presentation that this award is meant to honor.
As the winner of the Ian Villamagna Award, Gator also earns a ticket to compete at the Warhammer World Championships of Warhammer.

The drums of war grow louder, the warp storms intensify, and the time to finalize your preparations is upon us. This communiqué serves as both an update and a reminder of critical deadlines, expectations, and opportunities before we unleash glorious conflict upon the tabletops of Cincycon.

⚔️ RULES CUT-OFF DATE — FEBRUARY 15, 2026

When building your army, you must use the most up-to-date Warhammer 40,000 rules available from Games Workshop and Forge World published on or before February 15, 2026.

Any rules, dataslates, FAQs, balance updates, or publications released after this date will NOT be in effect for CAGBASH XIX.

In short: The galaxy freezes in time on February 15th.

📜 ARMY LIST REQUIREMENTS

All players MUST bring a PRINTED army list in an easy-to-read format.

Acceptable formats include (but are not limited to):

• New Recruit printouts
• Official 40k App exports
• Clean roster builders with full details

Your list must include:

• All units and detachments
• All wargear and upgrades
• Points costs
• Enhancements and options
• Anything your opponent needs to understand your army

You must have a copy available for EACH opponent you face.
This may be a single physical copy reused between rounds, but it must always be present and accessible.

If your opponent cannot clearly read your list, the judges cannot help you.

Failure to submit by this deadline will result in:

⚠️ A −10 point penalty applied to your Round 1 score ⚠️

No amount of prayer to the Emperor, dark rituals, or Orky optimism will remove this penalty.

We will be set up ALL DAY Friday with tables available for anyone who wishes to:

• Test their tournament list
• Get in practice games
• Throw dice in casual battles
• Play board games with fellow attendees
• Join us at Hobby Haven

Hobby Haven will feature our exhaustive full lines of paints, tools, and basing materials available for use — perfect for last-minute touch-ups, finishing bases, emergency repairs, or simply relaxing with some hobby time before the war begins.

Whether you seek tactical refinement or peaceful painting meditation, Friday is your day.

If you did NOT preregister with Cincycon, you will need to pick up your weekend badge from Con HQ.

We STRONGLY recommend doing this on Friday.

Saturday morning will be an absolute madhouse, and the Con HQ servitors will be extremely busy processing the masses.

If you have not yet purchased your CAGBASH XIX event ticket through Cincycon, you may purchase one from us onsite (space permitting).

Do not delay. Administrative delays are the true enemy of all generals.
