One of our favorite parts of owning Grace & Grit Designs is seeing our creations become part of your everyday life!

Hey Y’all!! Tammy here… how was everyone’s Independence Day weekend? We both had great weekends with much needed family time! The fireworks seemed extra special this year, I’m always so amazed at what they are doing with the drones to enhance the celebrations. AND the red, white & blue apparel! So fun to see how everyone showed their patriotism with what they wore!

BEHIND THE SCENES OF GRACE & GRIT

Hey y’all! Tammy here! 👋

I thought I’d give you a little peek behind the scenes of what we do every day.

I’ve had several people ask what a DTF gangsheet looks like, so here are a couple of our recent gangsheets. These are printed on commercial printers that can handle film up to 22 inches wide and as long as 300 inches (25 feet!). 😳

These particular gangsheets are packed full of designs! Some are for t-shirts, some are for aprons, and this order also includes retreat patches and mouse pads.

What many people don’t realize is that once the gangsheets arrive, the work is just getting started! Every single design has to be hand-cut, sorted, organized, and then heat pressed onto whatever item it is destined for.

So the next time you receive one of our shirts, aprons, mouse pads, or custom gifts, know that it has been touched by our hands every step of the way. ❤️

🌟 Grace & Grit VIP Spotlight Tuesday 🌟

Hey y’all! It’s Tammy here… I want you to meet one of our favorite Grace & Grit “VIPs”— Clare Nixon! 💖

Not only is Clare an amazing customer, she’s been one of my dearest friends for over 20 years. We bonded through our mutual love of scrapbooking. Some friendships just get better with time, and ours is definitely one of them!

Clare spends her days inspiring students as a high school teacher in Frisco. She loves to travel, especially to her hometown of Cincinnati, but when she’s home, you’ll usually find her enjoying two of her favorite hobbies: woodworking and scrapbooking. Talk about talent! 🪵✂️📸

Around our retreats, Clare is known for a few things…

Honestly, if Clare ever decides to open a boutique, we’re all shopping there! She has an incredible eye for fashion and always puts together the cutest outfits.

From sporting our “Let’s Go Girls” retreat tee at the Farmers Market to rocking our “Just B Crafty” event tee in Waxahachie and gotta have a “Diet Coke”ensemble with her custom ‘Myrel France’ bag, Clare is always one of our biggest cheerleaders. We are so grateful for her friendship, encouragement, and support as Grace & Grit continues to grow.
