A little icon appreciation post because these deserve their own moment 🥳

These five custom icons were created for Sustainable Foundations, each one thoughtfully designed to represent something meaningful about Ashleigh, her values, and the work she does.

From clarity and intentionality to growth, impact, and progress, every little detail has a purpose!

Because your brand is SO much more than a logo. And sometimes it’s these little details that make it feel unmistakably YOU.

PS. Custom brand icons are included in my Brand Foundation package! Ready for a brand that feels like you? Let’s make it yours.

I was talking to a friend recently and somehow the topic of how we organize our phone apps came up. And that’s when I learned that apparently organizing them by COLOR is not normal behavior?!

You mean everyone doesn’t have their apps organized into perfectly color-coordinated folders with matching heart emojis?

And before anyone asks, YES, I know exactly where every single app is. This is not chaos. This is a very intentional system, thank you very much 🤣

Maybe it’s the graphic designer in me, but organizing things by color just makes SENSE. Why would I organize them by category when I could organize them by ✨ aesthetics ✨ AND functionality?

SO I need to know. How do YOU organize your apps? By category? Alphabetically? Or are you one of those people with 47 pages of apps and absolutely no system? (looking at my husband…)

💙 Meet the new Sustainable Foundations! ⭐️

Ashleigh helps women business owners get out of the operational weeds and intentionally design businesses that run with more clarity, grow with more ease, and give them room to actually LEAD. Think systems, processes, and all those behind-the-scenes pieces that keep a business running (or sometimes make you want to pull your hair out 🤣).

When Ashleigh first came to me, she knew her business had grown beyond the brand she started with. She was ready for something that felt more like HER, reflected the work she does today, and could grow with her into this next season.

But here’s the thing about rebranding. You don’t always need to start from scratch. Sometimes the magic is in taking what’s already there and giving it room to grow.

So we kept her famous “Ashleigh Blue” and built an entirely new visual identity around the heart of her business. Handwritten typography that feels personal and approachable. Bold colors that bring confidence and personality.

We even built the creative direction around an idea we called “The Working Draft,” because Ashleigh’s clients don’t have to show up with everything figured out. They can bring the messy, complicated, behind-the-scenes parts of their businesses, and she’ll help them make sense of it all.

The result? A brand that’s strategic without feeling corporate, playful without feeling childish, and professional without losing the personality that makes Ashleigh, well, Ashleigh.

Because at the end of the day, that’s what I want for every business owner I work with. Not just a brand that looks good, but one that makes you feel seen.

Ashleigh, THANK YOU for trusting me with this next chapter of Sustainable Foundations. I cannot wait to see where you take it!

SOMETHING GOOD IS COMING

When Ashleigh of Sustainable Foundations came to me, she had outgrown her branding. Her business had evolved, but her visual identity hadn’t quite kept up. She was feeling bored with it and ready for something that reflected who she is now AND where her business is headed.

That’s such a common place for business owners to find themselves.

Sometimes the brand that created when you started isn’t the one that’s going to carry you into your next season. And that’s okay!

So we got to work. We kept her famous “Ashleigh Blue” (because some things are just too good to let go of 💙), brought in five custom icons, playful patterns, bold typography, and plenty of personality.

The goal wasn’t to make her brand unrecognizable. It was to take everything that already made Sustainable Foundations special and build on it, creating something that feels more like HER while still being polished, professional, and ready for her next season.

We’ve spent the past few months digging into her story, getting clear on her vision, and bringing it all to life.

And TOMORROW, we finally get to share it with you!! I cannot WAIT for you to see this one!

A VILLAGE BECOMES AN ECONOMY WHEN MOMS START HIRING EACH OTHER 🧡

And that’s exactly what we’re building right here in Bowling Green!

Because Made for Mothers® isn’t just another networking group. It’s a community where moms building businesses can find their people, support each other’s dreams, hire each other, refer each other, and build genuine friendships along the way.

And the best part? We’re doing it IN REAL LIFE. With babies in tow, business questions on our minds, and absolutely zero expectations that anyone has it all figured out.

We’re getting together again THIS THURSDAY, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

🎤 Ali Raymer of Peace & Pearl Travel Co. is joining us to talk about doing less, delegating more, and building a business that’s actually profitable without running yourself into the ground.

🗓️ Thursday, October 22 | 11 AM–12:30 PM
📍 The Lounge @ 314 - Bowling Green Venue | Bowling Green, KY

Whether you’ve been running your business for years, are just getting started, or are still figuring out what you want to build, there’s a seat for you here.

And YES, babies and kids are always welcome! 🌼🪩

Grab your ticket through the link in my bio, and tag a mama in business who needs to be in this room with you!

Let’s keep building this village, BGKY! 💚

My ancestors worked the land so I could sit at a computer and have strong opinions about fonts 💀😂

Somehow I turned being ridiculously particular about typography, moving things a few pixels, and telling people their logo isn’t their brand into an actual career.

And somewhere along the way, I started making room for big ideas AND strollers at the same table.

What a weird, wonderful life I’ve built.

If you ever need someone to judge a restaurant menu with you, I’m your girl!

P.S. If you’re wondering about the fake teeth, ask my brother about the pool ball incident of 2005…

ROUND TWO IS COMING, BOWLING GREEN MAMAS!! 🎉

Our next Made for Mothers Bowling Green meetup is October 22nd, and we’re talking all things growing your business without doing ALL the things. Because seriously, who has time for that?!

We’ve got Ali Raymer with Peace & Pearl Travel Co. joining us for some really good conversations, homemade baked goods from Demi and Hampton, Sydney Shoemake Photography is back behind the camera, and Hayley Myles welcoming us into The Lounge at 314 again!

And right now, we have a special guest appearance from Oreo, my foster kitten, who clearly wanted to be part of the conversation too 🤣

Whether you joined us last month or haven’t made it to a meetup yet, WE WANT YOU THERE!

ROUND TWO, BOWLING GREEN!! 💚🎉

Our next Made for Mothers Bowling Green meetup is Thursday, October 22, and we've got some pretty amazing women joining us!

Ali Raymer with Peace & Pearl Travel Co. is leading a conversation about getting out of the weeds of your business, what to delegate (or ditch altogether!), and making more room to grow.

Demi Oldham and Hampton Thompson are bringing their homemade baked goods for us to shop!

Sydney Shoemake is back to capture all the fun!

And Hayley Myles is welcoming us back into her beautiful space, The Lounge at 314!

But really? The best part is getting a bunch of moms in business together who just GET IT.
