Just a little life update.

Content from me may be a little slower for a bit. I recently stepped back into the corporate world and I’m back on a normal 8–5 schedule.

I’m not stopping GhostStack by any means.

I still truly enjoy working with my clients, building websites, and helping small businesses clean up their online presence. That part isn’t going away.

But I also needed to do what made sense for my family while I keep building GhostStack the right way.

So if you don’t see me posting as often, I’m not gone.

Just working, building, and doing what I need to do.

One thing I’ll always try to do with GhostStack is point people in the direction that actually makes sense for them.

I had a client I was building a Wix site for, and after talking through what she really needed, we realized she wasn’t actually selling products through the website.

She’s using the Amazon affiliate program, so the site really just needs to look good, explain the brand, and link people in the right direction.

Wix would have worked, but honestly it was probably more than she needed for this setup.

So we talked it through and decided to move the site over to the way I normally build and manage websites. Since she had already paid for Wix for the year, I gave her 3 months of hosting free to help make up for some of that cost.

I’m not here to overcomplicate things or take advantage of people.

I want small businesses to have what actually works for them.

Sometimes that means changing direction, even after you’ve already started.

That’s just part of doing right by the client.

I’ve been a little bored with my all white Golf R lately.

As a Volkswagen nerd, I’ve always loved the Harlequin cars. They’re weird, loud, different, and instantly recognizable. There’s something about that old VW heritage that still hits for me.

And honestly, I think websites are kind of the same way.

Your business shouldn’t look like every other business online.

It should stand out.
It should be easy to recognize.
It should feel like you.

Clean is good.
Professional is good.
But boring and forgettable doesn’t help much.

Your website should give people a reason to remember you.

Been a little quiet on here lately, but I’ve still been building.

This is a Wix site I’ve been working on for Hot Mamas Relief Bar, a women’s wellness brand focused on comfort, support, and products for those “is it hot in here?” moments.

Wix isn’t usually my first choice, but sometimes the best platform is the one that fits the client, their budget, and how they want to manage things after the site is done.

I can build custom, I can work in Wix, and I can figure out what makes the most sense for the business.

At the end of the day, the goal is the same:

Make the brand look legit, make it easy for people to understand, and help the business show up better online.

Still building.
