Today is my son Alex’s birthday. ❤️🎉

And birthdays have a funny way of reminding you just how quickly the years go.

The little boy becomes a grown man.
The years you thought you had forever somehow fly by.
And suddenly, the moments around the table—the dinners, celebrations, laughter, stories and time spent together—feel even more precious.

It’s one of the things I’ve come to appreciate more and more:

We don’t need a special occasion to gather with the people we love.
Our people ARE the occasion. ❤️

So today, I’m celebrating one of my people.
