This year there are so many things that I'm thankful for. Little Benji was born, I started to work as a full-time freelancer, there are just so many blessings in my life. Of course, there are always ups and downs, but that's fine, that's just how life is.

The last few days I've been experiencing a little creative block with a mix of imposter syndrome. Not a good feeling. So today I started to go through a file where I collect probably more than one hundred illustrations I have done for KlientBoost to see if I can get the gears moving. The verdict's still out.

For the record, some of the illustrations shown here were not approved, but I like to keep them around just in case.

I like to keep things exciting and keep you fellow interweberz guessing when my next post is coming. There is no pattern, no special event, nothing that will let you know when my next post is coming. This animation here is not even recent. I did it a while back. Why am I posting it today? Because I can. And that is how I've been approaching social media for a bit now. I used to get stressed about missing my bi-weekly posts, but now if I don't post in a couple of weeks, I'm cool with that. I'm not saying you should do the same, but if you feel anxious about not posting anything for a while, take a step back, look at the big picture, and reevaluate your relationship with social media. If you have a business strategy and are following a schedule, that's cool; it's part of your job. I get it. But in my case, I just like to share things I've done.

This is the first animation I've done in a long time that was just for fun. Because of that, I was able to take my time and play with frame rates, textures, music, etc.

Fun Fact: The design of this character was inspired by the bull from the Looney Tunes cartoon Bully for Bugs and the 2017 Ferdinand movie!

This was a series of patterns for some of our different products. I don’t know if I have said this enough before, but I love patterns! Since the release of the Josstice League movie, I saw the logo as a missed opportunity and said to myself; I'm going to create this other version just for fun. Obviously, I completely forgot about it, but now with the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, this was the perfect opportunity to do it.

To this day, I still don't understand why nobody on the creative team pushed this idea. I mean, they already played with the L that way. Why not the J?

Thoughts?

P.S: I'm part of the group of people that think that Zack Snyder's Justice League is a far superior movie. If you are on the fence about watching it, let me tell you, it's so worth it!
