This weekend I built a tool to fix my own problem.
I kept telling myself I'd post consistently. Then a client fire would come in, the week would vanish, and my own content was the first thing to get dropped.
So I built Cadence: a tiny app that lives on my own machine. I draft posts and images into a folder, it organizes them into a calendar, tracks whether I'm hitting my cadence on each platform, and nudges me when I go quiet.
No subscription. No login. No data leaving my laptop. Just me and the thing that keeps me honest.
That is the Hatch way. When the off-the-shelf option does not fit, you build the exact thing you need.
