Saturday, our team had the honor of taking part in the Homes for Our Troops key ceremony here in El Paso. 💙

We presented a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses to Staff Sergeant Pascual Delgado -- an El Paso Army veteran who answered the call after 9/11 and was medically discharged after losing his vision to multiple sclerosis. The glasses are about helping him regain a little more of his independence.

It was a privilege to stand alongside Homes For Our Troops and members of our community to honor SSG Delgado and everything he's given. Thank you for your service, Staff Sergeant -- El Paso is grateful for you.

Texas is one of the first states chosen for America's Workforce Academy — a free training program for skilled trades with a path to a job offer at a Meta data center construction site. No experience needed. And every graduate will be guaranteed a job on a Meta partner’s construction site. It's a $115 million first year investment in the workers building AI infrastructure.

Meta has invested $20 billion across the Lone Star State, supporting thousands of jobs from Tarrant County to Central Texas and El Paso. America's Workforce Academy is the next way we're showing up for Texas.

Big news in clean energy ☀️🔋

Last week, Meta announced two partnerships pushing the boundaries of what's possible for powering AI infrastructure.

We're working with Overview Energy to bring solar power from space to Earth—satellites collecting sunlight around the clock and beaming it to solar farms on the ground. And we're partnering with Noon Energy on ultra-long-duration storage that can hold clean energy for days, not just hours.
