Super grateful to work with the fine folks at on their new venture in East Palestine. In the aftermath of tragedy, they’re choosing to plant and grow. This full branding package included consultations, mood-boarding, full design build out, revisions, and made complete with branding guidelines and launch material. Inspired by the sunflower’s strong and resilient nature, we crafted this suite to represent just that. With an abstract sunflower icon leading the way, a strong typeset, warm + welcoming color palette, and some vintage nods to East Palestine’s past. Looking forward to working with FC this year as they commit to community in the village.

THERAPY HAS HELPED ME. As a human. As a MAN. As a Christian. There are a lot of stereotypes and stigmas surrounding mental health, and therapy is one of them. Seeking the counsel of someone who you trust that shares your values is a huge help. Reaching out for help doesn't mean you are weak. It's vulnerable, but it takes courage, so I view it as a sign of strength. I even recommend it for anyone not 'struggling.' Go talk. You'll feel better afterwards, i promise. If you're local to me and are looking for a counselor, reach out to me. I have a few suggestions.

It is estimated that more than one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness (59.3 million in 2022; 23.1% of the U.S. adult population). That's a fact. Which means even more people are probably secretly dealing with it without reaching out for help. Mental illness does not discriminate. It can affect anybody no matter their ethnicity, gender, religion, financial status, values, etc. It can stem from trauma, hormonal imbalance, medications, brain chemistry, and many more causes. No matter the cause, we should not be afraid to reach out for help. The idea that you are "less-than" or "weak" for getting help is the exact reason many individuals do not. BREAK THE STIGMA.

One of my favorite tools to combat anxiety, stress, and depression is to get MOVING! I’m a huge proponent of daily walks. Start small. Set a step goal and get outside. No matter the weather. No matter your schedule. Prioritize it. Walking and exercise has been proven to lower cortisol, the stress hormone that contributes to anxiety and depression. 🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻 Are you a daily walker?
