NEWS! July summer quilt raffle is on! All design squares are from patterns I have up on Spoonflower.com, and I sewed the quilt with soft, upcycled sheets! $5 for a ticket! get one at the RinRin Studios Patreon or PM me for other ways. (Venmo, paypal, cash?)

Set aside this ballpoint project while getting my digital designs for my monthly quilt, but back to my Chinese mythical "taotie" creature!

This is inspired by ancient Chinese metal work done to depict the mythological Taotie creature. Very intricate designs that I know will be worth it! ...

Wasn't sure about recording just the sketching, but it's so detailed and takes so much focus! And it will be so worth it when I begin filling in with the ballpoint! It's another mythological creature. A Chinese taotie this time (based off ancient metalwork), accompanied by a female spirit.
