It is with a heavy heart that I announce my resignation from Digital Office Equipment.​ After 17 years of nurturing experiences and significant growth with the company, it is not an easy decision to make. I extend my sincere gratitude to my remarkable colleagues and mentors who have been instrumental throughout my career at DOE.

As I prepare to step into this new chapter, I am filled with optimism for the future, albeit tinged with nostalgia for the wonderful memories created at DOE. I encourage everyone to stay connected and look forward to sharing updates as I navigate this transition. My journey is enriched by the incredible individuals I have met along the way, and I am excited about the upcoming opportunities that await.

To my dedicated sales team, I urge you to relentlessly pursue every opportunity, regardless of scale. To the outstanding service team, your efforts have consistently elevated our reputation and ensured client satisfaction—thank you for your unwavering commitment. Lastly, to the leadership at DOE, I am profoundly grateful for the incredible opportunities provided and for fostering such a supportive family atmosphere throughout my journey.

Charles Caleb Colton, a cleric and writer once said, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". It's another way to say that copying is a compliment, or imitation is admiration. No matter the form of mimicry or how close others may come in their attempts to imitate us here at DOE, there is only one true Digital Office Equipment.

Be wary of those that hide behind deception, smoke and mirrors to try and win your business and pass themselves off as the best office solutions company in the area.

They can imitate our style, but they can't imitate our passion!

Overall of 94.1/100 in 2020 and ranked #1 in the country for January 2021, now that say's something about taking service seriously! Hats off to the DOE Service Team, you guys are the best. Thank you for what you do each and every day.

Good morning everyone. As I am creating this new page to spread information to all of you, I came across something I felt compelled to share.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a component of the Department of Homeland Security, has published a bulletin regarding a known Microsoft vulnerability.

This exploit affects the Server Message Block protocol, also known as SMB. This protocol is highly utilized by the standard "Scan to Folder" feature of MFP's to deliver scans to destination folders.

Citing TechCrunch.com:
"Once exploited, the bug gives the attacker unfettered access to a Windows computer to run malicious code, like malware or ransomware, remotely from the internet.

Worse, because the code is "wormable," it can spread across networks, similar to how the NotPetya and WannaCry ransomware attacks spread across the world, causing billions of dollars in damage."

Microsoft has issued a patch for this vulnerability with its latest updates. However, this is not the first time we've seen a critical exploit of this protocol and I feel confident it will not be the last.

Digital Office Equipment offers an alternative to end users. This application offers "Scan to Folder" capabilities without utilizing SMB protocol. This means that you could have this protocol disabled to protect yourselves while still being able to scan documents to folders.
