Back from Baltimore after attending Catalyst, an annual conference hosted by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society!

I had the opportunity to travel with the WITCC Beta Zeta Mu chapter at Western Iowa Tech Community College, where we spent a few days attending sessions, hearing from guest speakers, and celebrating student and alumni achievements.

I’m incredibly honored to have received the Alumni Hall of Honor award. It means so much to be recognized internationally for the mural the students and I created for PTK, and even more to have been invited back as an alum to be part of something like this.

Grateful to WITCC for making the trip possible and for the continued support. 💚

It was an honor to return to Western Iowa Tech Community College as the Alumni Spotlight for this spring’s Staff Development session and create this piece!

Returning to campus in a different role this time (with a brush in hand) was an absolute privilege. Education shapes lives in ways that endure long after graduation, and expressing my appreciation visually to the faculty and staff who invest so much in their students every day felt truly impactful.

Thank you, WITCC, for the warm welcome and for trusting me with this project.

As an alum of both PTK and WITCC, I'm honored to have been recognized last week at the Phi Theta Kappa Regional Awards Ceremony in Des Moines, along with the amazing students of the Beta Zeta Mu Chapter of PTK, for our mural!

Come downtown this Tuesday, December 2nd, and join Phi Theta Kappa, WITCC, and the City of Sioux City for the official ribbon cutting of my new block-sized mural!

It has been an absolute honor to create this large-scale piece of art in downtown Sioux City. Hope to see you there!
