A.L. Grime // A Digital Analysis of the Human Experience // Ally Grimm, aka A.L. A.L.

Grime, is a Denver-based creative who delves into the realms of masculine versus feminine, nature versus machinery and logic versus emotion. Her work examines life in a technological era by juxtaposing the human experience with digital analysis. She stretches the dichotomy of female and masculine energies while simultaneously bringing equilibrium through calculated, emotion-driven patterns. The hy

per-masculine world that has been systematically build around us through consumption and status has bound humanity in it’s cold, rigid grip. Grime strives to bring balance by using her creations to depict feminine spirit emerging through the concrete grid. An essence fighting to bridge the gap between technology and spirituality through an aggressive return to emotion. Her pieces strategically utilize the imprisoning matrix to set free the indescribable elements of the human experience.

New one painted for in Austin! It’s been too long since I came back to my rave roots to paint for a music festival! These spaces made me who I am and will forever feel like home. Huge thank you to for having me out and putting on one hell of a weekend! Can’t wait to groove tonight one more time in a sea of lovers and freaks 🥰🖤

Naming this one “Eusexua” (a state of momentary transcendence, pure clarity, and deep connection—often described as the pinnacle of human experience), the pure ecstasy of connecting wholly to the music, the art, and the people around you.

Stay weird, my friends! 👽

Introducing the “MEMPHIS TENT”, an upcycled tent turned into a kids playhouse in the Memphis Design style. This piece is the first in a collection for our project made possible through the .

Our project simultaneously explores the relationships between people and the objects we buy-how we emotionally react to the dopamine hit of consumption and how we detach from the responsibility of disposal. We take this one step further in seeking to understand how this detachment from our environment leads to destruction, exclusion, and apathy.

Our project marries my exploration of consumption as a symptom of a global crisis of indifference with ’s story of growing up in Memphis, TN and finding refuge for his mental health in the outdoors. The Memphis Tent is a reminder that play and access to the natural world are human rights often hoarded for those with power.

A huge thank you to for the used tents and to for shooting the installation. This is the first phase of many for this project!

I recently got asked to make a poster for my favorite band 🖤 After more than 2 decades of blasting their music at full volume, I wanted to draw inspiration from some of the details that have influenced my art and life.

Is huge thank you to my fave creative director , the powerhouse between the timeless imagery of the band, for inviting me to live out a childhood dream. He’s a beautiful reminder that when we make what we love, we can inspire the next generation to carry on the work ✨

// a study for The Dreamers Series which explores the meditative state of release and flow (or as the kids call it, locking in 🔓) // These have been incredibly grounding and holistic pieces to create as they hold tons of experimentation and moments of play in the process of painting // would love to paint this on a big wall or create a larger version with fiber in the future //

// a closer look at the custom jersey I made for Women’s Empowerment Month honoring the long history of craft culture pioneered by women // I was given the jersey as a base to build from and I deconstructed it to rebuild this version which includes 1 pair of mesh basketball shorts, 1 mesh athletic jersey, a windbreaker for running and muslin // muslin pays homage to pattern makers, the women who’s contributions are often ignored in fashion but who lay the foundations of design // the other fabrics are nods to the textures found in athletic clothing // together the design symbolizes the labor of women that comes together to create objects we use every day //

Thank you again to the Avs for the opportunity! It will be on display at the games this month so snap a pic of you can 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
