Defiant Gamers Club

It saddens me to announce that Defiant Gamers Club will not be hosting their annual board game event at BashCon. Hopefully it is just a 1 year fluke but with all the turmoil and the slowness of the club, the health and family responsibilities of the leaders, we apologize.
We are looking for Defiance based members to take the torch with the club and move forward.

To all members-this is an open group currently. Recently, we have been deluged with a massive number of suspicious member add requests. All of them have a number of things in common which makes them fairly easy to identify as spam pages trying to get a membership so they can promote gambling sites within our group and on our page. We have been addressing each of these as they occur. For the time being, to prevent spammers from being added, the page admin is requesting that only moderators and the admin add new members. We have a terrific track record of not having spam on our page and we would like to keep it that way. If this doesn't address the issue, I will have to make this a closed group and make membership on this page dependant on a referral from a current member.

Forums are currently down due to upgrades and maintenance. They should be back up soon! I've been working on the back end quite a bit, and all I need to do is make sure my commands to copy the database is right. Then I will open registration again. I think everyone is going to like the new calendar.
