The Love's Travel Stops location at Exit 412—just one exit up from Buc-ee's at Exit 407—has been demolished and is currently being rebuilt bigger and better in an effort to compete.

The biggest difference between the two, of course, is that Love’s welcomes and caters to truckers, while Buc-ee’s does not.

We’re curious to see whether a fuel price war will emerge once it reopens, and how much larger the food and retail space will be when Love’s is completed.

Buc-ee’s has more of a cult-like following, but Love’s has its loyal customers as well.
