THANK YOU to everyone who came out to see me at my last year vending Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair!! The weather only cost us about an hour, fortunately, and it was gorgeous the rest of the time. I got to see some of my favorite people, and slept all day Monday lol

Here are the newest pieces that I made for the fair, they're all now available on my website (link in comments), and ✨✨STAY TUNED✨✨ for news of a group show this summer that I'll be participating in.

Next up: lots more band commissions, logos, merch art, flyers, etc. The grind keeps grindin, and so shall I. 🤘

I had this one on my mind for a long time before I made it for my current show. The subject matter is quite heavy, but very personal. The featured statue is "Abduction of a Sabine Woman (or The R@pe[a] of the Sabine)" by the Flemish sculptor and architect Giambologna (Johannes of Boulogne). I brought in imagery of the cruelty of man, the church, the loss of innocence, of war and terror, hopelessness, fear, anger, hate, and the blind eye people turn to all of it.

Current events and the way they are being handled have made my anger and sadness boil over again and again, so I had to reflect that on paper. May the matriarchy one day heal what man has done to this world.
