It was a honor to serve my city in this capacity. Sitting on the Collin Leadership Policy Summit along side Texas of Governor officials was no small shoes to fill. To tell people in the room what is going on in ground Zero in small biz was no small task. I set aside my fears and I took the courage to tell my truth. I have been in business for 18 years and what we are experiencing is mind blowing in the the job market. I am glad someone invited me to the table. Grateful for the opportunity.

At 19 years old I made the bravest decision of my life to leave my hometown and go serve my country. I learned how to put “service before self”. My service to my country has been one of my biggest challenges I had transitioning to adulthood. Reflecting on my time in the Air Force was one of the best decisions I ever made. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve my country.

Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow service men and women.
