Job Title: Senior UI/UX Developer / Architect / Design Engineer�Job ID: IA-DOM-DOIT-AA3�Client: State of Iowa – DOM DoIT�Location: Des Moines, IA�Work Type: Remote for offshore and Hybrid for locals �Preference: Local candidates or candidates from nearby states�Interview: We**am or In-Person Interview
Key Skills Required:
* 5+ years of professional Front-End Development experience
* Strong experience with Enterprise Design Systems and reusable component libraries
* Experience building Design Systems from scratch
* Strong expertise in HTML, SASS, and Angular
* Experience with component-driven architecture
* Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, including AAA compliance
* Hands-on experience with ARIA roles and Semantic HTML
* Experience conducting Accessibility Testing and Audits
* Strong experience with Storybook for component development, testing, and documentation
* Knowledge of UX principles and accessible interface design
* Experience mentoring development teams and conducting front-end code reviews
* Experience with USWDS (U.S. Web Design System) or similar frameworks
Preferred Skills:
* .NET
* MVC
* SQL
* Backend integration experience
