Honoring the Women Who Lead, Empower, and Transform

At Krown & Company, we have the immense privilege of working alongside two extraordinary women: Kamille Nyamuoch Thomas and Nyajuok Tongyik. Their leadership, resilience, and dedication to uplifting CALD communities, refugees, and immigrants make them true change-makers.

✨ Kamille Nyamuoch Thomas – A powerhouse in executive leadership, resilience training, and enterprise solutions. As a retired Air Force veteran, international speaker, editor, and leadership coach, Kamille has dedicated her career to empowering individuals through mentorship and leadership development. Her strategic thinking and commitment to professional growth have impacted countless lives, ensuring that those she works with can unlock their full potential.

✨ Nyajuok Tongyik – A fearless advocate, author, and community leader. Through her storytelling and activism, she has been a beacon of strength for refugee women, survivors, and young girls, ensuring their voices are heard. Nyajuok’s work in advocacy and empowerment is paving the way for generational change, breaking barriers, and creating opportunities for those who need them most.

Both Kamille and Nyajuok embody the core values of Krown & Company—creating impact, driving change, and advocating for equity in every space they enter. Their contributions extend far beyond leadership titles; they are architects of transformation, building bridges for communities to thrive.

Today, on International Women’s Day, I want to recognize and honor these two remarkable women. Thank you for your unwavering commitment, your tireless work, and the way you show up for the community every single day. Your impact is deeply felt, and the world is better because of you.

Let’s continue to lead, empower, and transform—together.

The Power of Community: A Reflection on Leadership and Connection

At the heart of leadership lies an undeniable truth: we are better when we’re together.

We’ve been reflecting on the idea of balance, especially as leaders and changemakers. Too often, we prioritize work and family while relegating friendships to the sidelines. Yet, the reality is clear—we need our communities as much as they need us. A person cannot thrive in isolation. Ubuntu, a Zulu phrase meaning “a person is a person through others,” encapsulates this beautifully.

As leaders, we have a responsibility to model the values we want others to embrace. Imagine a workplace where leaders say, “I’m leaving early today—it’s my friend’s birthday.” Imagine a world where friendships, shared memories, and supportive communities aren’t just a “nice to have,” but a priority.

At Krown & Co, we believe that leadership is about more than professional growth—it’s about creating systems of support that allow us all to thrive. When we foster connection, we reduce the pressure on singular relationships—whether it’s work or personal partnerships—to be everything to us. We rediscover the joy of shared experiences, the resilience of mutual support, and the fulfillment of being part of something bigger than ourselves.

So, let us ask you: How are you showing up for your friendships, your communities, and your people? Let’s start redefining success—not just as individuals, but as a collective.
