BTS Has Some Great News!

We are incredibly honored to announce that Business Telecommunication Systems (BTS) has been selected as a 2026 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards Finalist!

The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program was founded in 2003 with one purpose - to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the Inland Empire's top entrepreneurial business leaders. US Bank is the Premiere sponsor.

This recognition is especially meaningful as BTS celebrates 45 years in business. What began as a family business has grown and evolved over the decades, but our commitment to our customers, our employees, and the communities we serve has remained at the heart of everything we do.

Being named a Service-based Entrepreneur finalist is not just a reflection of one person, it represents 45 years of hard work, perseverance, relationships, and the incredible people who have helped build BTS into the company it is today.

We are extremely grateful to our employees, customers, partners, friends, and family who have supported us throughout this journey. We truly could not have reached this milestone without you.
We are looking forward to celebrating with the other incredible finalists at the Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards on November 12, 2026, at the Riverside Convention Center.

Here’s to honoring where we started, celebrating how far we have come, and looking forward to what’s ahead!

45 Years Strong!

Happy 42ND Anniversary to Senior Engineer | Danny DeGrote

When Business Telecommunication Systems was just getting started, Danny DeGrote was there.

Danny is a founding employee joining BTS in 1982. More than four decades later, he remains an integral part of BTS as a Senior Engineer and one of the company’s most experienced telecommunications professionals.

Over the years, Danny has witnessed—and helped lead—the incredible transformation of business communications. From the early days of traditional business telephone systems and paging to today’s sophisticated Cloud, Premise and Hybrid VoIP, networking, collaboration and unified communications solutions.

His extensive hands-on experience provides BTS customers with something that technology alone cannot replace knowledge gained from decades of solving real-world communications challenges.

Danny has been involved in the design, installation, troubleshooting and support of countless business communications systems. His experience spans generations of telecommunications technology, giving him a unique perspective on both where the industry has been and where it is going.

For BTS, Danny represents much more than technical expertise. He represents continuity, loyalty, craftsmanship and customer service—qualities that have been part of the BTS culture since 1981.

42 years of Danny DeGrote at BTS is true experience our customers can hear.

We’re proud to work alongside Danny!

Celebrating Women's Equality Day

Business Telecommunication Systems (BTS) proudly celebrates Women’s Equality Day on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Women’s Equality Day commemorates the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920, when women gained the constitutional right to vote. Officially designated by Congress in 1971, the day honors the generations of women whose determination, courage, leadership, and vision helped shape our nation.

Just 61 years later, in 1981, Business Telecommunication Systems was founded. Today, as BTS celebrates 45 years in business, we are proud to be a woman- and family-owned company built on innovation, integrity, dedication, and exceptional customer service.

For four and a half decades, BTS has evolved alongside the communications industry, delivering smart, reliable technology solutions that help businesses of every size stay connected, productive, and prepared for the future.

We celebrate the achievements of women throughout history and recognize the leadership, vision, and determination of the women who continue to inspire future generations.

Happy Women’s Equality Day from the entire BTS family!

45 Years. Family Owned. Woman Led. Built for the Future.
