A life update for you guys! I wanted to share that I’ve made the decision to step away from tattooing, at least for now. I’ve had a wonderful two years at my apprenticeship, but I need to dedicate time to regain strength in my hands/wrists post-injury, and I was already struggling a bit with staying booked enough to cover my expenses. I have absolutely no regrets, though, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything I learned. ❤️

I forgot to mention this in the video, but you were wanting a tattoo from me, I HIGHLY recommend requesting a booking with my mentor ! She is so wonderful to work with and has such a beautiful style—you will be in great hands! I am so honored to have been mentored by such a skilled artist. 🙏✨

I made a digital collage for my new profile pic! All done in Procreate with some additional photo editing in Tezza. No gen ai tools—I even cut out the hair by hand to keep things imperfect. It reminded me of when I first taught myself photoshop when I was in middle school and would make fanart for my favorite bands—back then if you wanted to remove a background from an image, you had to basically trace it out with your mouse.

This is my first time doing any drawing or painting in over a month!! I got diagnosed with tendinitis in March, having experienced shooting wrist/hand pain since late February. I’ll share more about it another time but I just wanted to celebrate the milestone of being able to use my hands like this again. I’ve truly missed it. The work itself may not be perfect, and it may not my favorite thing I’ve put in a sketchbook, but I’m not in shooting pain which has been such a relief. ❤️ I’m a lil sore (and I’m not sure if it’s because of the art making or my physical therapy exercises), so I don’t think I’m in a place I can create daily. But it’s a start, and I’m so happy things are progressing!

Brought home a new family member today, Sherlock has a new baby sister named Shamrock!! ☘️ Found her through and fell in love!! So excited to have a girl dog bestie, and a new buddy for Sherlock (although it looks like annoying little sister is more like it so far 😂).
