So last week there was this thing, called 7dRTS (7 day Real Time Strategy), that my friend and I tried to pull off. The idea was to create an RTS in a week (RTS genre is like StarCraft, Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, etc).

We got... something... finished. You can play it, but it's pretty rough. Try it out (you may have to find a friend to play you), let me know what you think. You'll be the first ones to play it, literally, I haven't even played it against anyone. I can't even say for sure if it works.

We're randomly generating the dungeon rooms, and then connecting them with corridors. Red lines show which rooms we wanted to connect (although not all connections get made directly).

The update for Amazing Brok is now live for both Apple and Amazon Appstore. Enjoy lots of new bonus levels! If you find any new levels that aren't fun, Josiah did those.

Also, for those of you with Android devices that haven't bought the game yet, that Amazon update made the game free (although it does pester you about installing other free games). This was actually an accident, but I decided to go with it for about a week to see how things play out.

The iOS update has been submitted to Apple. Two weeks from now, you'll be playing it or I'll be mumbling curses to myself when they reject it. Stay tuned!

iOS users: if you're already on our testflight team, you'll be notified sometime tomorrow. If you're not on our testflight team and you want to be, let me know.

Testers with kids, this release is supposed to be geared towards ages 5-10 (ish). The levels should be considerably easier than our original Brok game. So if you had problems with that one, and find this one doable but still fun, please let me know. Also, let me know if your kids are able to progress through and are enjoying it.

Finally, we're tracking very generic game events (game started, level completed, etc). Nothing that could identify you in any way is recorded. This test version doesn't give you the option to opt out; the official release will.
