“Because He First Loved Me” 🍂❤️

Sometimes, the sweetest moments with Jesus happen in the most ordinary places.

Today, while sitting at my son's drum lesson, I found myself thinking about how grateful I am that Jesus loves me. With nothing more than a few pens, a piece of paper, and a heart full of gratitude, I began drawing an autumn cross.

There was no inspiration photograph and no grand plan. Just me and Jesus. As the flowers began to bloom across the page, the cross took on a rustic character, and a little autumn pumpkin found its place among the greenery.

With a little digital polishing, my simple drawing became something even more beautiful than I had imagined. But the heart of it remains unchanged. It is simply an expression of gratitude for a love I could never earn and will never deserve.

“We love because he first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19 (ESV)

Sometimes, worship doesn't need words or music. Sometimes, it looks like a little autumn cross drawn in the quiet moments of an ordinary Saturday.

Sometimes, the most beautiful thing we can offer Him is simply a grateful heart. ❤️

Sometimes, faith looks less like holding on and more like letting go.

We may not know where the winds of life will carry us or what awaits us in the changing seasons, but we can trust the One who created us. His hands are steady, His timing is perfect, and His faithfulness never changes.

Even when we cannot see where we are going, we can rest in knowing who carries us.

“I will carry and will save.” — Isaiah 46:4 (ESV)
