Panasonic PVQ-130W

This little 13" beauty from my collection received a full treatment. A complete teardown and cleaning, some minor replaced components, some reflowed solder, a replaced speaker, polished input connections, head cleaning, and re-lubed everything.

HCFR calibrated and that composite signal looks crisp (being a 13 certainly helps).

VHS runs mechanically smoooooth with no hiccups whatsoever.

Pretty much the exact same as the previous post 1953MD. Got this one all set for it's owner and we're on to the next! I generally do a lot of consumer sets - but man... PVMs can be calibrated in MUCH more precisely.

Came in on it's last breath and was able to recover it to this point. Keeping an eye for a replacement fbt, but its hanging in there 😅

Full recap of the deflection board and psu, also needed some minor geo/convergence correction - but looks a lot healthier 🚑

My Obsidian Ember Dreamcast is going to it's new home! Sold on etsy last week. Client opted for a full recap, RetroGEM Shiny HDMI, and a 512gb Samsung Pro SD

This was one of my first Dreamcasts I ever modded... Remixed (I believe Laserbear's) gdemu file to refract light, and then designed a mount that inserted inside - housing standard 5mm led diodes. Used some flickering orange leds all around to really give it that forged-in-fire appearance!

It's got all the bells and whistles of course

I primarily used it for just testing crts, so I figured it was about time to let it go to someone that would get more use out of it.
