Just a heads up, there’s a new scam call going around. It’s an automated message that says there’s an issue with your FedEx delivery and it tells you to visit a website. Do not visit that website. It’s a complete scam.

IOS 27 DRAINING YOUR IPHONE BATTERY? DON’T PANIC JUST YET 📱

If you recently installed iOS 27 and suddenly noticed your iPhone battery dropping faster than usual — or your phone feels warmer — your battery may be perfectly fine.

After a major iOS update, your iPhone continues doing a lot of work behind the scenes. That can include rebuilding search indexes, processing your files and photos, updating apps and preparing information for new search, Siri and AI features.

Think of it like your iPhone reorganizing its entire filing cabinet after the update. The more photos, messages, files and other information you have stored, the more work there may be to complete. All that processing uses the processor — and that uses additional battery power.

Give your iPhone a few days after installing iOS 27 before judging its battery performance. Keep it connected to Wi-Fi, plug it in when convenient and let those background processes finish.

If you’re still experiencing unusually fast battery drain several days later, then it may be time to check your battery health, apps and settings to determine whether something else is going on.
