We had a great time today at the Opportunity Knocks Chili Cook-Off today, it was a full house across 2 floors & 2 big outdoor tents, all supporting the amazing O.K. mission. We got to break in some of our new QSC Audio Products Speakers (a few K-10's & 12's) with great results!!

Looking at the weather report here in Chicago (headed to -40!) got us thinking about the challenges of keeping your audio gear safe in the cold.
Remember, its not the cold that is the real danger to your gear - its the condensation that forms when you bring a piece of equipment from cold conditions to warm (like from your van into a venue) that is the real killer.
Make sure to let gear sit (unplugged) and get up to room temperature before trying to use it, this goes for amps and electronic equipment of all types.
