TCA Zinefest 2025: The Power of Prints

at the
TheΒ Teen Creative AgencyΒ at the MCA is celebrating 13 years of DIY publications! This event showcases the original artwork, activism, and social practice of Chicago-area youth and emerging adults, as captured in zine form.
This year, TCA designed and created zines exploring the history of power in print. In addition, weβve partnered withΒ ZINEmercadoΒ to bring in a broader range of local and regional zine-makers and independent presses.
TCA highlights teen ideas and perspectives in the museum space. Its members gather at the MCA from all over the Chicagoland area to collaboratively create public responses to relevant contemporary issues. In doing so, they build relationships alongside other cultural institutions, organizations, and professionals in Chicagoβs vibrant art scene.
