Today, I had the opportunity to attend the Design Forum featuring interior designer Mark D. Sikes. I’m looking forward to turning what I learned into a story. Finding beauty everywhere — and taking that beauty as a sign of hope — were important lessons from his presentation.

Victory lap time: I’ve said before that it was a teenage dream of mine to be in a magazine in Barnes & Noble. I’m not in just one right now—I’m in THREE. With more coming. This is the dream, y’all. I am living it. (Swipe for an outtake of my *other dream* casually doing laps around the racks.)

I’m in the midst of some health challenges that have limited my ability to work and have kept me pretty quiet here lately. Celebrating achievements feels extra important right now.

You want to hear something wild? Welcomed Co™ blogger, Laura, wasn’t formally diagnosed with ADHD until recently, but before even seeing a psychiatrist, she was certain she had it. Why? TikTok. Talk about finding community in unexpected places!

"I’m a 30-something mom. I’m not even supposed to be on TikTok, right?!" she said. "Once I got through the initial phase of constant cute cat clips, the algorithm began to work its magic, and it started showing me users with diagnosed ADHD. I don’t know how or why this happened, but I was pulled in by how similar their situations were with my own."

Read more on the Welcomed Co blog about the surprising way Laura learned she had ADHD and how she's learning to live with it.
