Small businesses have taken a hit these last couple of years and Black-owned small businesses are no exception. According to a CNBC article, 8 out of 10 Black-owned businesses fail within their first 18 months. It's so imporatant that we not only see more Black and minority owned businesses but that we support them! What better time to do that than the holidays when you're already shopping? Small businesses provide many jobs in our economy so it's important that they make it past 18 months in business.
