When you see this- God wants you to know he loves you sooooo much!!

This Easter is different- I say that every year I think but this year God has really walked me through an amazing season. His love is just unremarkable.

We can slip into thinking God is mean, against us, hard to please- and Old Testament God did seem to look that way- he can’t stand injustice and sin.

But then that very same God created a plan that we did not have to do anything for but accept it. Jesus showed us a side of God we didn’t get to see.

He is so caring, compassionate, loving- I can’t describe it- it has taken me a long time to understand.

God is not who people are!

This Easter I am going to sit and draw over he weekend and just contemplate His love. And if you see this, well, God wants you to see it and hear that He loves you too!!

Follow along this weekend and see this drawing come into focus and we await for our Saviors empty tomb.

Today my artwork was a form of worship- meditating on scripture in my art Bible.

I must admit I was a little worried! How to pull out details when the reference photo is blurry in important features like the eyes (which in people gives them their essence when drawing them on paper). But….. thankfully a hat was there for Paul so we could pull the rim down a bit- and after spending time with the drawing and hearing the story- I hope I captured his essence in this beautiful horses eyes to at least hint at his essence. ❤️ This drawing was a wonderful growth opportunity for me as an artist! But overall I am pleased with the result. Thank you to the Robbin’s for allowing me to draw this beautiful horse.
