I’ve had the opportunity to help one of my clients transition from KB Home Improvement to KJ Home Improvement, including developing their updated branding and helping prepare their marketing for the name change.

A rebrand is so much more than changing a logo. It’s about making sure the new brand still feels familiar to the customers who already know and trust the business—while giving it a fresh identity that can grow with them.

Same great local company. Same team and quality. Just a fresh new name and look!

I’m excited to see the KJ brand officially rolling out and even more excited for what’s ahead for them.

I wanted to personally share an important update regarding our company.

Since 2018, we have proudly served homeowners throughout our community, building our reputation on quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and creating beautiful outdoor living spaces. Over the years, we've had the privilege of helping hundreds of families transform their homes, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust you've placed in us.

Recently, we were notified that our company name, KB Home Improvement, conflicts with the trademark of a large national homebuilder. While we firmly believe there has never been any confusion between our businesses, defending our name through a lengthy legal process would require significant time and financial resources—resources we'd rather invest in serving our customers and growing our company.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to rebrand our business as K&J Home Improvement.

While our name is changing, everything else remains exactly the same:

The same ownership

The same experienced team and subcontractors

The same commitment to quality craftsmanship

The same dedication to providing a best in class customer experience through our work and through our people

The same passion for creating exceptional outdoor living spaces

Our new name reflects both our company's history and our future while allowing us to continue serving our customers without the distraction of a costly legal battle.

Over the coming weeks, you'll begin seeing our new branding on our trucks, signs, apparel, website, social media pages, and other marketing materials. During this transition, you may still see both names as we update everything.

We sincerely appreciate your continued trust, support, and referrals over the years. Because of customers like you, we've been able to grow into one of the area's premier outdoor living contractors, and we're excited to continue that journey under our new name.

Your website has about 5 seconds to make its case.
