Patiently waiting for the WV business owners who love what they do but cringe every time someone asks for their website...

You've built something real here. Your website just isn't showing it yet.
When you're ready, I'm here. 👋

Hi, I'm Julianna. I make websites for small businesses.
Need a website? Hit me up!

Running this business alone has taught me things no course ever could.

I don't have a team to hand things off to. I'm the one in your inbox, building your site, and making sure the strategy behind it actually fits your business.
It felt like a limitation for a long time. Now I think it's exactly why my clients get what they actually need.

If running your website feels like one more thing on a list that never gets shorter, reach out. That's exactly what I'm here for. And if you're not ready yet, follow along. I share stuff here that actually helps.

I recently tried Ursus Brew Works for the first time and I think they might have my favorite burgers in Charleston now.

If you haven't been yet- go. And order extra smash sauce. Trust me.😉

Things I wish someone had told me before I launched my first client website.

Nobody gives you a manual for this. You just start, figure it out as you go, and hope the hard lessons come before the expensive ones.
These are the things I know now that would have changed everything then. Some of them I learned from doing it right. Most of them I learned from doing it wrong first and that's okay too.

If you're a business owner who's ever looked at your website and thought "I don't know why this isn't working", this one's for you.
Save this and share it with someone who needs it. 👇

Boring stuff I do before I ever touch the design of a client's website.
No mockups. No color palettes. Not yet.
Before any of that I'm on a call learning who you are: what drives you, why you started this, what makes your business yours and not anyone else's. Then I'm figuring out what your site needs to say, who it needs to say it to, and doing my homework on the people you're trying to reach.

By the time we get to the pretty part, every single decision already has a reason behind it. Nothing is just because it looks nice.

This is what strategy-first actually looks like behind the scenes.

Save this if you've ever wondered why your website looks good but doesn't actually bring in business. 👇

The real reason my clients love their websites has nothing to do with how it looks.

Before I ever open a design tool, I figure out what the website actually needs to do.

Most sites get built around aesthetics. Mine get built around what needs to happen: more calls, more bookings, the right people actually reaching out.
That's the part most web designers overlook and it's the part that changes everything.

Is your website doing its job? If you're not sure, send me your link. I'll take a look.

Tell me the vibe and I'll build it.

Clean and modern. Fun and playful. Polished and high-end.
Whatever you're envisioning, that's exactly what we're going for.

No template that kind of fits. No settling for close enough. Just a site that actually feels like you.

If you've been putting off your website, this is your sign. Send me a message and let's figure out what your vibe is. 👇

You don't need to redo your whole website. You just need to ask the right questions.

Most people who feel stuck on their website are thinking too big. Full redesign. New branding. Start over. But honestly? The things that actually move the needle are way smaller than that.

Is your homepage message clear in the first two seconds? Is your main call to action obvious... like, really obvious? Does your site work on someone's phone?
That's it. Start there.

Clarity beats perfection every single time. You don't need a flawless website. You need one that works.

Small, steady wins over chaos.

Save this for the next time the overwhelming urge to trash it all kicks in. And share it with a business owner who needs the reminder.

I almost didn't post this because it's not pretty.

No mockups. No color palettes. Just spreadsheets, notes, and a discovery form full of questions most people skip.

This is where every website actually starts for me: strategy first, always. So that when we do get to the design part, every decision is already grounded in what your business needs to say and who it needs to reach.

The pretty stuff comes last on purpose.

Does your website feel like it was built around your business or just built?
Reach out if you want one that is! 👇

I found a website mistake in the wild and I can't stop thinking about it.

A local business had written instructions on their portfolio page explaining how to view their work.

And I get it, they wanted to be helpful. But here's the thing: if your website needs a manual, that's not a content problem. That's a User Experience problem.

Your website should guide people naturally. No instructions. No explanation. Just an experience so intuitive they don't even notice it's working.
If someone has to stop and figure out how to use your site, most of them won't. They'll just leave.

Is there anything on your website right now that you've been meaning to "add a note" to explain? That's your sign to fix it instead.
