Why more watts does not mean louder.

Bigger wattage numbers feel impressive on paper, but loudness does not scale the way most people think. What actually matters is matching power to your speakers and your room, not maxing out a spec sheet. Come let us help you pair it correctly.

That song on your phone is going through more steps than you think before it reaches your ears. Today we are talking DACs, the tiny box responsible for turning digital into sound you can actually feel. Come hear the difference for yourself.

We asked the Modus team to pick their favorite piece in the showroom, and Chelsea went straight for the FOCAL Bathys. Premium wireless headphones with real hi-fi sound, built for people who want to take the listening room with them. Come try a pair on and tell us what you think. And what would your pick be? Drop it in the comments.

Closed today! 🛠️
Our AC unit is getting replaced today, so the Listening Lounge will be closed while the work gets done. We’re sorry for the inconvenience!

We’ll be back open for business tomorrow, 10/7, cool, comfortable, and ready to play some music. 🎶

Sold out. Packed out. Painted orange. 🍊

Thank you to everyone who filled the Modus AV Listening Lounge for our Where's Frank night. We listened closely, celebrated the artist, asked hard hitting Frank related questions, and crowned Atlanta's Biggest Frank Ocean Fan. Congratulations, Omeshia! 🏆

Limited edition merch, a room full of people who love the music, and vinyl and CDs from Darryl at Moods Music made it a night to remember.

Missed it? The next one is coming. Tap the link in our bio to sign up and hear it the way it was meant to be heard.

Always make sure to check your tone arm isn't in the dropped position. In our last HiFi 101 we talked about why the stylus is the one part of your system that actually touches the music, and this is exactly why it matters. Get it right and this is the moment you get rewarded with. Come drop the needle yourself in our listening lounge.

We are more than a showroom. These three items surprise most people when they find them on our site. Take a look, you might find your next upgrade without ever leaving the couch.

This tiny needle is the only physical contact point between your vinyl and your speakers. Get it wrong and it does not just sound bad, it can damage your records for good. Protect your collection, know your gear.

Somewhere in this city is the person who knows every ad lib, every pitched vocal, every little detail about Frank Ocean better than anyone else. We want to find them.

On September 25th, Modus AV and LMPYO are turning the Modus AV Listening Lounge into a tribute to all things Frank Ocean. A full night of curated tracks pulled from Nostalgia, Ultra through Blonde, played the way this music was built to be heard, on a system that reveals every layer.

This is also a search. We are looking for the biggest Frank Ocean fan in Atlanta, and the title comes with bragging rights nobody can take from you.

Doors at 7:30. Music at 8. Tickets link in bio.

Details on how to submit for Frank Fan status coming soon. Get ready.
