🎨 For well over a year, these Pep Talk cards have been in the works. When Margrit came in to my shop and told me she wants these for a story, I was surprised and honored. My hope is to add realness and positivity in a world of hardness, struggle and generated imagery-human made is still of value 🫶🎉

Perhaps the greatest lesson Cassie took from her watercolor card project was that it is worthwhile to create something simply because it brings joy. Her professional work is often created for clients, with goals to meet, messages to communicate, and expectations to fulfill. The watercolor cards were different. They began with experimentation — putting down color, watching what happened, and seeing what emerged. That process brought her back to something she had learned through photography: the importance of paying attention.

For Applefest weekend only, I’m offering a special collection of my photography as beautiful 16"x20" canvas prints. These are photographs I’ve taken on the Grand Mesa that I love, moments I’ve noticed, and scenes that have stopped me in my tracks — and it feels pretty flippin exciting to finally put them out into the world as art for your walls. 📸

You guys---today feels really special🥰 I’m honored to be featured in the High Country Spotlight & Shopper this week- sharing my journey with Sassy Creative and the work I love—supporting small businesses through design, storytelling, and connection. Bonus that Stu also included my passion project, the Grand Mesa Business Guild as part of the story.
