I heard the FTC has proof many large companies are falsely raising prices and blaming inflation. So I am coining a new word:

voteflation vote-fla-tion : The practice of raising a products selling price in an effort to blame the current government administration for rising economic inflation. i.e. Grocery store charging increase prices for items, when the actual cost has not significantly increased. The end goal of influencing the next election and changing the administration.
