Every website I build has a story, and this one was especially fun to bring to life. 🍎

When Liz at Halcyon Days Cider Co. reached out, they weren’t just looking for a new website, they wanted a site that truly captured what makes visiting their orchard so special.

From the peaceful labyrinth and rolling orchard views to handcrafted hard cider, seasonal events, and gathering with friends, every page was designed to help visitors experience a little bit of Halcyon Days before they even arrive.

Behind the scenes, we also spent time building a solid SEO foundation, organizing the site’s content, and creating a structure that’s easy for visitors to navigate and simple for the team to manage moving forward.

Projects like this remind me why I love what I do. Great websites aren’t just about looking beautiful, they tell a story, support a business’s goals, and create a better experience for the people visiting them.

As we embark upon a new year, I’m excited to see what’s in store for small businesses navigating the wavy waters of AI, SEO, marketing sentiments, consumer attention, consumer behaviors, and consumer expectations. It’s never a straight and narrow path, it’s always winding, up and down, forwards and backwards…which is why marketing can be so fun.

Nonetheless, I want to make sure that my efforts are steering in the right direction and aligning with where the small business needs are. So, I’m posting this short social survey, just one question, to gauge where you all are at. If you’d like to share, I’d love to hear your feedback.

Let’s pretend you’re going to redo your website this year. How are you, as a small business owner, feeling about that kind of a project? Are you feeling like:

I love a good DIY project, so I’ll probably start with a template and build it myself.
I just don’t have the time or web experience to do it myself, I’d rather someone do it for me.
My website really just needs a refresh…if that’s a thing.
