Today I launch four things. Really, one thing: my promise to our community. 🤟
First — AvocadoWeb is reborn. I tore down the old WordPress site and rebuilt it from zero. Plain. Fast. Clean. No bloat, no noise. "Your Web, Our Mission — Accessibility for All" was never a slogan to me. It is why I started. Link: https://avocadoweb.net
Second — avoai.dev. My new home for Deaf-first AI. Not AI built for hearing people and handed to us after. AI built for US, from day one. Link: https://avoai.dev
Third — the one that keeps me up at night. Meet AvoPolisher. ✨ Now in beta. Link: https://avopolisher.app
Fourth — my book is finally done. Conversations That Changed Everything: A Deaf Entrepreneur's AI Journey. 27 years of building for our people, the rise of AI, the fallout, the rebuilding — all of it, in my own words. It publishes this month. 📖
Here is the story behind all of it. 27 years I have been building for our people. Websites, community groups, events, always the same reason. I watched too many smart Deaf minds go quiet on paper. Not because they have nothing to say. Because the tools were never made for how we think.
You know this pain if ASL is your first language. You write an email. You run it through Grammarly. The screen bleeds red everywhere. Not because your thinking is wrong, because your language lives in your hands and eyes, not in English word order. Those red marks? They do not feel like "suggestions." They feel like someone saying your language is broken.
Let me say it clear: ASL is not broken English. It is a complete, rich language.
AvoPolisher is the first tool that treats it that way. You paste your writing and written the way a Deaf mind thinks and it carries your meaning into natural written English. Your voice stays yours. No red shame. Just a hand.
That is what this was always about. Giving our people a hand. Not fixing us, we were never broken.
AvoPolisher is in beta and free while we prove it together. Come try today and If this reaches one Deaf kid who is afraid to write… Then every year was worth it!
