For those of you who do not understand the differences between AC and , this article is for you. Article factoids: AC is used for long distance powering as less energy is lost in electrical power transmission. This is why homes, offices and most buildings are wired to AC. On the other hand with DC, everything that runs off of a battery, plugs in to the wall with an AC adapter, or uses a USB cable for power relies on DC power. DC POWER INSTALLERS –
This position is entry level, and requires prior telephony and/or electrical experience.

-Travel Required-

Elite Technologies & Communications - Charlotte NC

Position Overview:
-Battery (Telecom) installations and servicing
-Installation of Rectifiers and Power Distribution Equipment
-Power cable installation, lug crimping, lacing and all other duties associated with the installation and
maintenance of DC power
-Grounding
-Alarm wiring
-DC Power Hot Slides
-Interpret or write Scope of Work & MOP's
-Installation of ironwork and cable rack

Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record - required
• Must pass DOT physical, Pre-hire drug screen, and background check
• Verifiable work references are required
• Associates or Technical degree from college, or High School degree/GED and military training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office products
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor
• Travel required
