Well, I knew it would eventually happen. The generator at Pilosoft failed tonight at 11:45. The technicians are working to get it running again soon.

Palace-Designs was up and running as-of 4am Wed morning. The data center is still running on backup generators but it looks like coned has or will restore power to the southern tip of Manhattan fairly soon.

Problems in New York’s data centers persisted through Wednesday morning, with hosting companies and other facilities racing against time to keep generators humming as water was pumped out of their facility basements.

The datacenter that Palace-Designs Inc is located in was flooded. They are currently pumping water out, with no damage to any server equipment. We are expecting to be up and running by about 10am tomorrow.
