Being sidelined while I recover from back surgery has definitely been an adjustment. Since I can't be out behind the camera as much as I'd like, I decided to put that time into something I've been wanting to do for a while—I finally built a website for Designs By Duck.

For those who didn't know, I had back surgery today. Thankfully, everything went well, and I'm back home resting and starting the road to recovery.

If you've noticed I've been posting a lot more and trying to photograph as much as possible lately, that's why. I knew I'd be sidelined for a while, so I wanted to spend as much time as I could doing what I love before taking this break.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who's supported me recently, whether it's booking a session, sharing my work, checking in on me, or simply showing love. It truly means more than you know.

I'll be back behind the camera as soon as I'm able. Until then, I'll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines. ❤️📸

What a way to finish the weekend.

The 13u WCT Eagles left it all on the field and capped off the Stars & Strikes Tournament with a championship win.

Rings on their fingers, championship belt in hand, and memories that will last a lifetime.
