There’s something truly special about coming to Artesia each year to provide audio and lighting for the annual Festa Da Bola at the legendary Artesia Portuguese Hall (DES). This event is so much more than a festival—it’s tradition, community, and family.

Year after year, we’re honored to be part of an event that brings so many people together to celebrate culture, friendship, and the incredible spirit of this community. No matter how much time passes, being in Artesia always feels like coming home. The love, support, and warmth from this community throughout the years has meant so much to us, and we never take that for granted.

A very special thank you to the 2026 Festa Da Bola committee members and every volunteer who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this year such an amazing success. These events don’t happen without your dedication, countless hours, and passion—and you absolutely knocked it out of the park. Well done!

We’re currently looking to bring on experienced audio engineers for upcoming shows and events.

This is not an entry-level position — we need individuals who have real-world experience working in a live audio production environment and understand what it takes to deliver under pressure.

Requirements:

Proven experience in live sound (A1/A2 roles, events, festivals, etc.)
Reliable transportation
Absolutely no drug use
Strong work ethic and professionalism
Ability to stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations
Team player who can communicate effectively with crew and clients
Keen knowledge of balancing live audio mixes
Knowledgeable with digital console formats (Midas, Allen Heath, Yamaha)

This is contract-based work, not a full-time employee position. Schedules will vary depending on events, so flexibility is key.

It was truly an honor to be part of such a beautiful evening at the United Irish Cultural Center’s Annual Gala in San Francisco at the historic ballroom at the Hibernia, always an incredible place to work, and seeing it filled with friends, supporters, and Irish community celebrating together made the night even more special.

A huge thank you again to the amazing band Livewire for bringing such incredible talent to the stage. Their musicianship and professionalism are second to none, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Watching the room come alive with music, laughter, and dancing is exactly what nights like this are all about.

My sincere appreciation goes out to Leo and everyone involved with the UICC – United Irish Cultural Center—the organizers, staff, volunteers, and supporters who work so hard to make this annual gala such a success. Your dedication to preserving and celebrating Irish culture and community truly shines through in events like this.

It’s always humbling to be trusted with the audio and lighting for such a meaningful event. Nights like this remind me why I love what I do—bringing people together through music, great performances, and unforgettable moments.

Working with the incredible band ALMA is always a great experience, but being able to capture them live at a recent show made it even more special. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a live performance—the music, the crowd, and the moments that happen naturally on stage.

ALMA always brings passion, talent, and professionalism every time they perform, and it’s an honor to work alongside such amazing musicians. Looking forward to many more shows together! 🎶👏

What an absolute pleasure working with the amazing musicians of the band Livewire for a private company party at the stunning Stonetree Estate.

Set against the rolling hills of Novato, the evening was nothing short of magical. Livewire brought incredible energy, tight musicianship, and a level of professionalism that truly elevated the entire event. From the first note to the last, they had the crowd engaged, dancing, and enjoying every moment.

It was also truly wonderful working with Heather and the entire staff at Stonetree. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and seamless coordination made the day run effortlessly and created a perfect environment for everyone involved.

When a beautiful venue, an outstanding team, and top-tier musicians come together, it makes for an unforgettable experience. Grateful to be part of this incredible night! 🎶✨
